Research Fellow

As a Research Fellow for the Stories in Play Initiative at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Centre for Digital Humanities, I plan, prepare, write, and record monthly Playable Stories: Unarchived podcast episodes with my fellow contributors. Available on SoundCloud and Spotify, this podcast functions as a resource for teachers and students who are interested in learning about story-rich, critical, reflective, and persuasive digital games that can be included in literary, media, and cultural studies courses at the secondary and postsecondary levels.

Planescape: Torment – Blizzard in Baator
Team Cania
(Cania Believe It Works)

Narrative Designer, Writer, and Editor

Blizzard in Baator is a large-scale fan mod/expansion for Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition that continues the Nameless One’s journey into the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse. Created as an unofficial expansion in the spirit of the original game, it adds extensive new areas, characters, quests, dialogue, items, music, and lore, while focusing on the same themes of identity, mortality, philosophy, and the consequences of the Nameless One’s past. I worked as the lead English script and dialogue editor for Act I (287,000+ words), which was released on June 12, 2026, and am currently working as one of the co-lead narrative designers and writers for Acts II and III. Watch the trailer for the mod here.
